Im very sure that when you hear got or games of thrones all that comes into your minds is fiction , imaginary and not real , well even thou most of that is true some real facts mentioned in game of thrones are real and happened in real life , here are 5 of the most iconic moments of games of thrones that realy existed :

1.The Wall :


Hadrian’s Wall was a defensive wall that stretched across England during the Roman empire it was built by the emperor Hadrian for reasons that remain somewhat mysterious to separate the province of Britannia from the northern portion of the island.

2.The War of the Five Kings:


Years and years of war between France and England , after everyone thought it was finally over England drove back to france with the War of the Roses, a battle between House Lancaster and House York for control of the English throne that finlly ended when Henry Tudor of the Lancasters defeated Richard III of the Yorks and became the first Tudor monarch in 1485.

3.Valyrian steel :


Or as known in real life as Damascus steel, it was mainly used in the middle east to produce weapons, the procedure to create this kind of steal still mysterious but each weppon made off damsacus steal had a distinctive ripple pattern in the metal.

4.Wildfire :


Cersei Lannister’s favorite weapon, known to us as Greek fire, it was a substance developed in the 600s and used by the Byzantine Empire. It was used in navale battles because it burned on water and was extremely hard to extinguish .

5- The Mad King :

Charles was king of france from 1380 to 1422, he suffered from a mental illness which made he often forget that he was merried , thinks he was made of glass, he also drained the royal treasury, expelled Jews from France and abused servants.
